What do you like best about the facility?
• Upon entering, there is an immediate sense of caring and serenity. The staff makes an effort to approach us to discuss Helen's care. There are ample space and nooks for private visits. The South Wing is quiet and the residents appear satisfied, busy and at ease. Living so far away, I feel secure with Helen's placement.
• Good care, aware of individual needs, helpful, always willing to be of service to us. Congenial, nice to meet the nurses, CNA's and aides.
• Care and compassion given to all residents. Cleanliness of facility. The way residents are treated by staff from the top including maintenance and housekeeping.
• The atmosphere is friendly from the moment you enter. The facility is beautiful and encourages residents to come out of their rooms and wings. Everyone here is focused on the well being of the residents.
• We could not have found a more wonderful caring community for my mother. I think the presence of the Sisters of Notre Dame is felt by everyone. I attended Mass with my mother one Sunday. There were approximately 50 residents present, and when the Eucharist ministers brought communion to the residents, they addressed each one by name. How caring, how personal. Thank you!

• Continue the Special Events and activities that say "thank you" to the staff. Sets this facility apart. All my responses are about the 7 AM - 3 PM times, I haven't spent enough time for 3 PM - 11 PM or 11 PM - 7 AM.

This facility has changed my mind about nursing homes. It is pleasant and looks as much like a home as possible.
I and my family are so happy to have my Mom at Notre Dame. Notre Dame is a physically beautiful facility that is matched by the high caliber of all staff. I sincerely believe that. Notre Dame is very unique and stands alone in its far reaching standards that extend to all aspect of operation at Notre Dame. I feel confident that my Mom always has the best care possible. The Sisters at Notre Dame have created a warm caring loving spiritual atmosphere that is rare and beautiful that not only cares for and sustains and renews the residents, but their caregivers as well.
Words cannot begin to describe the loving thanks to the nurses, aides, housekeepers, kitchen laundry, office staff and administrators for making NDLTCC the perfect home for the continuation of the spirit of family loving care of our dear mother. We are eternally grateful for the love and care at NDLTCC.

During the last several years it has been my privilege to have, in various capacities, taken part in the development of the Notre Dame Long Term Care Center. I have witnessed the skill and dedication of the extraordinary staff which the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur have assembled. These individuals exemplify attributes of selfless commitment to those in need of special care, while carrying out their duties without regard to fatigue or discomfort. The Bergin family is very grateful to the Sisters of Notre Dame for opening their home for our loved ones. Notre Dame Long Term Care Center is home for our dear mother and her family.
The loving care in the East Wing extends from the nurse manager, the nurses, nurses aides, Pastoral sisters, priests, housekeepers, laundry workers, maintenance staff, gardener, activity staff, dietary staff, etc..
