The Mission of Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, an expression of the healing
ministry of the Catholic Church, is to provide comprehensive and compassionate
long term care to our residents enabling them to attain their maximum levels of
health and well-being.
To achieve this Mission, we strive to
- Manifest the spirit of the foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame, St.
Julie Billiart, in witnessing the goodness of God in our corporate ministry and
our communal life;
- enable those we serve to realize the fullness of their spiritual,
emotional, social and physical potential;
- retain and support qualified and competent personnel committed to
this ministry;
- attain high levels of excellence and quality of life and of care for
our residents;
- provide a climate where hospitality, compassion, and mutual support
are expressed to those who serve and to those bring served;
- honor the richness of the racial, cultural, and ethnic diversity of
our staff, residents, families and visitors;
- utilize human and financial resources in a fiscally prudent and
efficient manner and to steward those resources to ensure quality care as well
as success to services for persons who are poor or disadvantaged;
- collaborate with other health care providers and organizations to respond
creatively to health needs;
- advocate for quality health care for all persons at all stages of life by
working to promote a more just and caring society.
